It\'s important for us at Meerkat to let you know which personal information we collect and how we use it. We try to accomplish this by the following policies. Those also include how we will NOT use your data. The policies below are applicable to data and information collected through our website and products, including on-premise APIs, and mobile SDKs.

We are a Brazilian Computer Vision private limited company that provide systems that process textual and mainly image data. In the following your data refers to any image or textual information (such as e-mail, address, etc.) that you provide to our services. We reserve the right to modify or amend the terms of our Privacy Policy from time to time without notice. If we intend to apply the modifications or amendments to this Privacy Policy retroactively or to personal information already in our possession, we will provide you with notice of the modifications or amendments for your agreement.

How We Share And Not Share Your Personal Information

We do not disclose information about your Personal Information collected to any companies not part of Meerkat or its parent, subsidiaries or related entities. In no event will we sell or rent your Personal Information as part of a customer list or similar transaction.


We may share some or all of your personal information with our subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require those entities to honor this Privacy Policy.

Business Partners and Third Parties

We will not share nor sell your Personal Information with our business partners in no event.

Third-Party Agents

None of this shared information to third-party companies include image content uploaded by you using our Services and/or website

We also provide HTTPS connections to our cloud services. It is your responsibility to always use those in order to avoid man-in-the-middle attacks.

Meerkat is headquartered in Brazil, yet has many services hosted in the U.S. and Europe. Your personal information and other information collected through the Website and Services may be stored and processed in these countries or other country in which Meerkat, its Clients, Affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. Meerkat, its Clients, Affiliates, or service providers may transfer information that we collect about you, including personal information across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. By registering for and using the Website and/or Services you consent to the transfer of information to any country in which Meerkat, its Clients, Affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. Cross-Border Data Transfer

If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or Switzerland and are required to apply additional safeguards to your personal information under European data protection legislation, we will do so. Following termination or deactivation of your account, Meerkat, its Clients, Affiliates, or its service providers may retain information (including your profile information) and user Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.
